Central Region Water Board invites suitably qualified firms to submit expression of interest for the independent detailed design review and construction supervision for the Rehabilitation, Upgrading and Expansion of Ntchisi Water Supply Scheme and Construction of Sanitation Facilities.

Scope of Work

The key task of the Consultant is to undertake a detailed design review and construction supervision for intake works, raw water pipeline, treatment plant, transmission lines, pumping stations, clear water tanks and service reservoirs, distribution pipelines, auxiliary buildings and access roads.

The details of the work for this assignment shall comprise, but not limited to the following;

1. Review of technical parameter and data collection.
2. Review of the existing design criteria and detailed design of the water supply and sanitation components.
3. Topographical and other surveys.
4. Water resources and water quality assessments.
5. Socio-Economic assessment review.
6. Financial and economic analysis review.
7. Development of GIS system.
8. Tendering and construction supervision.

Submission of Expression of Interest

Interested eligible firms may submit expression of Interest to Central Region Water Board stating their interest, attach the following documents;

1. Copy of Certificate of Incorporation.
2. Company profile.
3. Company Brochures.
4. List of previous similar assignments done in the past five years.
5. Curricullum Vitae (CVs) of key personnel.
6. Copy of Tax Clearance Certificate TCC from Malawi Revenue Authority (MRA).
7. Audited Financial statements for the past three years

Joint ventures and/or association with local consultants are encouraged.

Expression of Interest must be delivered in a written form to the address below by 19 August 2024 before 14:00 local time.
